Adidas Ozweego 2048

Adidas Ozweego 2048 was an imagining of a future where the retro-classic shoe will be 30 years in the future. We worked with our partners at Jam3 to create a Speakeasy installation; a custom bodega hidden in plain-sight. FBU was happy to work on a interactive custom newspaper box that triggers projections that launch you into the future.

Sneakerheads who reserved their limited edition Adidas Ozweego re-release shoes online were then directed to the special bodega in downtown Manhattan. After showing a reservation pass, visitors were invited to enter the experience through the bodega drinks fridge. Entering the space, projectors offer fuzzy glimpses of the future. Once a secret code is entered in a keypad, visitors are warped to a vision of the future. A newspaper box is unlocked and rewards visitors with a free pair of Adidas Ozweego shoes.
