Lululemon Seek Curiosity

Lululemon Seek Curiosity

2018-09-27

To help mark the 20th birthday of Lululemon Athletica, we worked with Facebook and Jam3 to create an AR application triggered gram museum.

The installation consisted of 2 selfie booths embedded in a heavily modified trailer branded with Lululemon's Seek Curiosity mark. Each selfie booth consisted of a large mirror surrounded by strings of RGB Lights. Guests used a Facebook Spark AR application to select their experience and change the lighting in the space.

In addition to setting up the communication server, electronics and programming the microcontrollers, we created a unique tool to assist designers in "painting" the desired lighting. An ionic application was used to immediately communicate with the lights and allow Jam3 to pain their desired lighting scheme. Each scheme was then exported as a series of frames to be displayed in the booth.
