Dayout.io is a festival platform designed to allow audiences and festivals to interact directly with each other. The project is a collaboration between Fire Burns Up, Nordicity, Luminato Festival Toronto and other partners in Toronto.
Dayout.io helps festivals add to their digital channels by giving audiences utility, methods of interaction, and gifts. The ongoing project started in late 2021 and continues to evolve as new partner festivals join!
The main parts of dayout.io are:
- Administration Dashboard allowing festival organizers to manage their festivals, events, and add functionality
- Audience Site/Application allowing members to create memberships and agendas, claim gifts, complete surveys, and checkin to events
- An API allowing the addition of interactivity to events. For example, digital screens at a performance can be interacted with directly by audiences through the audience site/app
